Description

Health Matters is an AYCKL event dedicated to raise cancer awareness and its impact to society. The event will include a speaker, Ms Vijaya, a cancer survivor herself, who will shed light on how it affected her and those around her.

The session will also include 4 workshops:

  • Dr Shumita - Patient Support Program: Navigating support for cancer patients where she will shed light on how relatives and those in close proximity with a cancer patient can provide adequate support

  • Lee Kah Yee - Mindfulness in Everyday: This session is focused on mental health where she will share on finding peace in life and living in the present

  • Sri Ram Seetha - Befriending Internal Emotions Externally: Unidentified and unexpressed feelings and emotions become visible through the physical manipulation of clay

  • Lekshna Rubini Muralivaman - Branching Out: Discovering Self-Love Reflection on positive qualities and express them visually through art
