Speaker: Patrick Vaughn Emil M. Manuel
Patrick, a dedicated leader from the Philippines, is the Executive Director of the Far Eastern University - Nicanor Reyes Memorial Foundation (FEU NRMF) and Managing Director of the Foundation for Information Technology, Education, and Development (FIT-ED). He founded the Pantawid Covid Project and Kapit Pinas, two prominent youth-led initiatives that raised over 40 million in donations, aiding more than 50,000 individuals and reaching 70 areas during the Covid crisis. Recognized by the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations in the Philippines in 2020 and commended by esteemed figures including US State Department Secretary Antony Blinken, Patrick's impact is substantial. He leads the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Alumni Mobilization Program (YSEALI AMPLIFY) Manila Hub and represents the Philippines as the sole delegate in the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Academic Fellowship on Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development in the University of Texas at Austin. Patrick is pursuing a Master in Development Management, focusing on anti-violence against women and their children in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
