The topic of the webinar will be about An advocate for women in tech, impact-focused innovation, equitable workplaces, Jill Finlayson will share her insight in her journey in succeeding in a world dominated by men. She will be sharing her struggles, and her successes whilst working in a tech industry that is dominated by men. A little bit about our speaker, Jill Finlayson is the Director of the EDGE in Tech Initiative at the University of California, focused on expanding diversity and gender equity in tech. Prior to Berkeley, she led startup programs for Singularity University, the Toys category at eBay, an online community for social entrepreneurs at the Skoll Foundation, and marketing at startups. She hosts a Future of Work podcast and mentors global TechWomen, startup founders, and student innovators. Finlayson is a graduate of UC Berkeley.
