Career & Business

Amalina Ariffin works as the Program Lead of YSEALI Seeds for the Future at Biji-Biji. She has held positions such as the Experiential Programs Specialist at the East-West Center, Malaysian Coordinator of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) at the US Embassy and an advocate and solicitor at the High Court of Malaya. As a university student, she co-founded Chili Padi Academy, an environmental accelerator for school students. Amalina also spends time community building as a 2020 Asia-Pacific Obama Leaders fellow and community facilitator, and as board member of Friends of the East-West Center. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the International Islamic University Malaysia and has a Professional Diploma in Translation from Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka.
