In the heart of any makerspace, there is a fabrication space where creative minds bring their imagination to life. This was exactly the birthplace of our experience - The Foundations of Fabrication (Wood, Metal and Found Materials).
During our exciting session, we will provide you with basic knowledge on how to transform natural materials into something useful or decorative. The experience will consist of the following topics:
What is fabrication?
Fabrication materials (Wood, Metal and Found materials)
Basic tools used in the fabrication of an object
Making a connection - Joinery and Welding
Workshop ethics and safety
Fabricating your object
