How to prepare
Learners should prepare to work cooperatively with their team to think outside the box solutions for problems that need a huge social impact. No materials are needed by the learners but they are suggested to bring their best solutions. Learners should also be prepared to bring their electronic devices for the activities planned. Program Eligibility: 1. Candidates nominated for this program must be A YSEALI member – if you are not a YSEALI member yet, you may register and become a member at https://asean.usmission.gov/young-southeast-asian-leaders-initiative/ 2. Malaysian Citizens 3. Boot Camp teams must consist of a minimum of three and a maximum of four members. 4. Candidates must be between 18-35 years at the time of the application. 5. Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, interest, knowledge, or professional experience in the areas of Civic Engagement. 6. Individuals from underserved communities, including indigenous groups, women, and people with disabilities, are highly encouraged to apply.

Biji-biji Initiative
Innovation & Startup CenterBiji-biji is a social enterprise that was established in 2013, with a core focus on championing environmental sustainability and community development. Our flagship programme is Beyond Bins, which focuses on building small scale plastic recycling facilities within marginalised communities whilst providing alternative income to the underserved through recycling. Under Biji-biji, we also run Impact Accelerator programmes, where we uplift and up skill impact organisations through capacity building training programmes and seed funding.
