About the Host

Aziz Maas Batik
Creative SpaceAziz Maas exemplifies the old meeting the new, heritage meeting innovation. Malaysian wax-application batik has traditionally used textiles as its canvas; Aziz Maas Batik is the first in Malaysia to take this style to other mediums. From wood and glass to ceramic and stones, Aziz is leaving nothing un-batiked. In a time when mass production has churned out countless identical patterns, Aziz Maas Batik is devoted to hand-drawing each piece, ensuring that each work of art is a unique masterpiece.
