Description

A furniture maker and an impact maker at the same time? If it sounds like quite a peculiar combination to you, come and see the “magic” happening for yourself! As bikin is a Malay word for “make”, during this workshop you will be making a lot both with your hands and your heart. While grasping the basics of woodworking and carpentry, you will also be learning to lead the way in community impact across Malaysia. How will that happen? Each piece of furniture crafted by Learners will be donated for educational purposes. Students from the underprivileged communities will be able to use the chairs and tables made by you in their classrooms and advance further towards success on their learning journey! If that sounds exciting and ignites your heart, come and join us to bikin a change!
