Description

Students will learn to plant trees hydrophonically, fertigation and raised bed. They will use AB fertilizer, a way to mix water fertilizer and a good soil mixture.

How to prepare

This program is only open to students aged 13 to 17, teachers and parents. This competition is in pairs that is either: a) Students with parents, b) OR students with students. c) OR teacher with teacher. d) OR teacher with any parent e) OR students with any teacher. The participation fee is as much as RM40 where each participating couple will get a pot, AB fertilizer, a packet of soil and a seedling. The tree planting process will start from July to November 2023 and if there is a dead tree before 2 weeks, the tree will be replaced with a new tree. But if it is more than 2 weeks your plant is considered dead and you are disqualified from this competition. If the participant wants to join again, the participant is charged an additional RM10 and gets a new tree. The use of other types of fertilizers, disease-fighting sprays or the like is borne by the participants. Registration for participation will open on 25 May 2023 and close on 10th July 2023 with online payment. Assessment of trees will be conducted every two weeks. Each plant is rated based on the following categories: a. The condition of the tree is healthy (fresh green), disease-free and clean. b. Tree size according to each type with healthy growth c. Healthy soil conditions, not moldy and moist.
