Half Day: Fourth Creators Studio Rental

Get access to professional camera and video editing equipment at the Fourth Creators Studio at a competitive rate. Rental includes use of standard studio equipment. High-end equipment rental is available from The Fourth at extra cost. You can also engage a video producer from The Fourth. Please email us at academy@thefourth.media to learn more. 

Rental hours includes time for setup and teardown. You are NOT allowed to remove any equipment from the Studio at any time. Upon successful booking and payment, you will receive an email with the passcode to the digital lock.

Booking Rates

Half Day (4 hours; 10.00am - 2.00pm or 2.00pm - 6.00pm) : RM250 
Full Day (8 hours; 10.00am - 6.00pm) : RM400 [Book here]
Every Additional Hour : RM50
Security Deposit* : RM300

All booking on weekends and public holidays will be charged an additional 50%, whether it is a full or half-day booking. The additional 50% charge for weekends and public holidays applies to Special Access bookings as well.

*A security deposit of RM300 per session is required for ALL bookings. The security deposit will be returned within 14 working days upon confirmation from The Fourth that all equipment and facilities are in satisfactory condition.

House Rules

1. All users within the Creators Studio premises must maintain a respectful and professional demeanour towards fellow users and staff of The Fourth and Mereka.
2. Only 10 people maximum are allowed in the Fourth Creators Studio at all times.
3. Booking and usage of the Studio is by self-service only. Studio staff will not be available at the Studio to assist users for their production. Users can sign-up for monthly Studio Mastery Experience to learn Studio equipment operations before booking.
4. Users should request for a Studio visit or communicate user needs at least 2 days before booking date for staff to make relevant preparations or provide guidance.  
5. Users are responsible for the proper care and handling of all equipment and resources available in the Studio. Any damages or issues should be reported immediately to the Studio staff at academy@thefourth.media. 
6. Please keep the Studio area neat and tidy. Kindly place all equipment and items back into their respective locations after you have used them. Full equipment list can be found here.
7. Please maintain an appropriate noise level within the Studio to avoid disrupting others in the nearby space.
8. Please check with Mereka on-ground staff if you need to use areas other than the washroom and Cafe.
9. The Studio is for video production and content creation purposes only. Upon booking of the Studio, users agree to comply with all Studio and Mereka policies, including those related to copyright, intellectual property rights, and local laws and regulations. Failure to comply may result in temporary or permanent suspension of studio privileges.

The Fourth Creators Studio is a community studio designed to support the needs of the community; therefore, studio usage is FREE** for members of these communities who will use the space to create social impact-driven content:

**Subject to availability and a maximum of two full days / four half days per year to avoid overbooking.
