Description

Did you know that synthetic dye has negative effects on the human body and the environment? Malaysia is rich with natural resources and in line with the vision to celebrate ethical and slow fashion, let's learn how to do natural tie-dye by Bohomys. We promise it will be a fun and enjoyable activity! When participating, you will learn how to create handmade pieces that are crafted using natural fibres such as cotton and silk before they are dipped into dyes made from kayu sepang, daun ketapang, tarum, mangosteen skin, acacia bark, orange skin or mulberry leaves, sourced from a herbal distributor in Kedah. Participants are encouraged to bring their family and friends during the workshop as it will be a fun-filled weekend of activities! The workshop is sponsored by Biji-biji Initiative, during #JomMerdekafromPlastics campaign in conjunction with Malaysia Day and Merdeka Day. Note: - Open to all nationalities - Kids should be accompanied by an adult
