Selma (Golshifteh Farahani), born in Tunisia, raised in Paris, moves back to her homeland to practice as a psychotherapist to help the locals cope with the stress of cultural and social changes after the fall of long-serving dictator Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. A comedy centred around her reintegration back to Tunisia and a subtle, light-hearted political commentary on the country's transition to democracy through the female perspective. This Hin Screening is a collaboration between Hin Bus Depot and Alliance Francaise de Penang. Drop an email to hellohinstore@gmail.com for enquiries.
