Description

Recommended for kids aged 5 to 12 years. Let's learn about the Bornean Sun Bear (the smallest bear in the world) and the wonderful work of the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC). Join us for a very special storytelling session by the book's author and illustrator, Ammi Leong. Ammi will also share her creative process with children - her Borneo field trip experiences to the BSBCC, photos, research and sketches that culminated in her beautiful illustrations of Sun Bears for this picture book. Ammi will also guide children in creating a simple picture book of their own inspired by this story. The session will be conducted in English. All materials will be provided. *IMPORTANT NOTE: Aside from the workshop fee for each child, please note that accompanying adults will also need to purchase an entry ticket to the main Tamu (Tamu entry is free for children). The book also can be purchased from Ammi.
