Description
Special Storytelling & Acrylic Painting Session
Recommended for kids aged 5 to 12 years (Children below 9 years must be accompanied by a parent)
Award-winning Author-Illustrator-Storyteller Nor Azhar Ishak (or Uncle NAI) will tell us a story set in the beautiful Bornean island of Sipadan using the beautiful batik pictures that he created for his picture book "Indahnya Pulau Sipadan" (O How Beautiful Sipadan Island Is). Children will also get to make and take home their very own acrylic painting of a marine creature after the storytelling session. The session will be conducted mainly in English with some Bahasa Malaysia. All materials to create the painting will be provided.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Aside from the workshop fee for each child, please note that accompanying adults will also need to purchase an entry ticket to the main Tamu (Tamu entry is free for children). The book can also be purchased from Uncle NAI for RM 7 (details to be provided in pre-visit email).

How to prepare
A pre-visit email will be sent to you with relevant details. If you would like to purchase a copy of "INDAHNYA PULAU SIPADAN (O HOW BEAUTIFUL SIPADAN ISLAND IS)", you can pre-order and pay for a copy of this book upon registration. Uncle NAI will bring the book for you on the workshop day.
The host will provide
- Materials for creating the acrylic painting of the marine creature will be provided. Copies of "INDAHNYA PULAU SIPADAN (O HOW BEAUTIFUL SIPADAN ISLAND IS)" will be provided to those who have pre-ordered and paid for the book. Limited copies of the book will also be sold at the venue on the workshop day.
