BASIC THEORY & PRACTICAL - BARISTA SKILLS FOR TEENS & YOUNG ADULT. 5 hours of a hands-on workshop for those who wish to learn the technique of making coffee using the espresso machine. Learn how to make coffee-based beverages and milk frothing techniques. This Junior Barista Skills Workshop is to provide teens & young adults with the opportunity to learn one of the most sought-after skills in current trends -coffee making skills. Who should attend this program? - Teen and young adult (minimum age: 12)* looking to learn new skills in coffee making using the espresso machine. - University/college students looking to make extra income. * Parents are welcome to stay at the center and enjoy free flow coffee made by the participants. Work stations are available with wifi connection. What will you learn? Introduction to coffee (free access to our e-learning workshop) Introduction to Espresso Machine How to frothing milk and pouring techniques Coffee Menus Coffee Machine Maintenance Duration: 5 hours Date : starting from 22-16 March 2023 (Tuesday - Thursday) Time: 10.00am – 4.00pm (1 hr lunch break) Location: Sri Kandi Center ( Taman Puchong Indah near Old Klang Road) Fees include: Training material (coffee beans, milk, notes) Lunch & refreshments Inhouse E-Certificate Terms and conditions Fees shown are for students and fresh school leavers only. Maximum 4 person per session Additional benefits: We provide job placement assistance if required.

  • Remove barriers faced by the underserved youth in getting basic job skills required by the industry with flexible requirements. We aim to treat all youth equally despite their background. 
  • We aim to provide the youth with sustainable and stable jobs within the Food and Beverages industry. Through our program, they will received trainings and mentoring using our coffee kiosk as an On the Job training platform.
  • We aim to create more sustainable cities and communities through our programs and business activities. We believe that a sustainable and stable income from their career as baristas and service crews will help to raise their community living standards.
