Description
Join us for an evening of enlightenment in celebration of International Education Week. We will be screening Sepet (2005), directed and written by the late Yasmin Ahmad, produced by Elyna Shukri (a US graduate who completed her graduate studies in Arts Administration at the University of Pennsylvania), and starring Sharifah Amani and Choo Seong Ng as the main lead characters.
Sepet is a Malaysian teen romantic comedy-drama film set in Ipoh, Malaysia. The film tells a tale of a love that blooms between a Chinese boy and a Malay girl.
Meet current students, alumni and members of the public. Audience are free to mingle. Snacks are provided and the event is free-of-charge.
