Advocates speak up for the issues and causes that they believe in. Health advocates are individuals passionate about health – be it in specific disease areas, or for specific communities; or even for specific treatments. Social media has changed the advocacy landscape, with its far-reaching power to bring each and every stakeholder to the same table- be they scientists, clinicians, innovators or even policymakers.
Social media advocacy has the power to drive real change in health. If you an interested advocate who wants to drive change for the health issues that you are really passionate about, you need to harness the power of social media.
