Description

Join Eileyn Chua, Fa Abdul, Sharmilla Ganesan, and Sumitra Selvaraj at the 5th edition of Readings@Tanjong on 25 November!

Held in conjunction with the UN’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, all works featured highlight the subject and theme of sexual violence.

Butterflies and lotus flowers are often used as symbols of hope, growth, and transition for victim-survivors of sexual violence. The stories you hear are creative and personal responses to the subject and theme.

It is our hope that the more these stories are heard and told, it will inspire and increase awareness and collective responsibility for the fight against gender-based violence.
