The Good Tavern (TGT) is a flagship event organized by Sunway Social
Innovators Club (SSIC) from Sunway University. As SSIC is a club which
empowers future social innovators, promoting the works and efforts of existing
Social Enterprises has always been our top priority in conducting events. This
is because we want to contribute to promoting the well-being of individuals and
communities in Malaysia.
A sustainable and hands-on workshop where participants learn to make their own fashionable pouch using old cloth material that would otherwise be thrown away.
Participants can choose to make a small, medium, or large pouch and are guided by experienced instructors in designing and creating the pouch.
The focus on sustainability and repurposing materials results in a unique and personal item, while also reducing waste.
