Description
Nespresso coffee capsule is a non recycling item in Sabah, and there are in fact a lot of people drinking them. They are light (1 gram/capsule only) but they come in so many colors and after doing research online, we found that they are not hard to upcycle. They can be turned into jewelry and so on.
For this Nespresso capsule upcycle workshop, we teach people how to simply use just 3 capsules (just 3 grams) to create a Bornean insect, eg. Rhino beetle, Stag beetle, Scorpion, Weevil beetle, Leaf insects, and Dragonfly. Through this workshop, we can transform waste into something beautiful and more valuable, other than sending them to recycling. At the same time, we teach participants how to think creatively to solve some of the waste issues we face daily.
