Description

Come and grab an opportunity to study shadow puppetry, or "Wayang Kulit," from master Penang puppeteer in a theatrical performance, mythical and folk tales are frequently portrayed to keep the audience interested and entertained. This session will expose you to this old art form of entertainment and storytelling. You will be guided on how to create your own "wayang kulit" character and discover the time-honored method of bringing shadow puppets to life during this practical class.

How to prepare

Please be at Vans Gurney Plaza 10 minutes before the workshop start. If you are not sure of your attendance, please refrain yourself from signing up. Do to the limited slots offered, we would want to ensure equal opportunity for everyone to join our workshop. Please inform us at least 1 hour before the workshop starts if you are unable to join the workshop.
